ABOUT ME

Ken Flynn is a devoted husband and loving father, an award-winning teacher, recipient of the 2013 Associate Teacher Award from Queen’s University, and author and illustrator of The Average José: An Immigration Story and the children's story How Did We Get Here? He does some commission work and is available for keynote addresses and speaking engagements.

Ken also enjoys hanging out with his family, playing guitar, and drawing.

He is a devoted husband and father of two beautiful little girls. He also teaches high school children Visual Arts, Guitar, and English. Illustrating and writing his own books has allowed him to do what he loves best: entertaining people while also delivering important life lessons and highlighting the values he holds most dear. You can find him at local high schools, business functions, or social events in his guest speaking role.
